Korrina is the gym leader of Shalour Gym and specializes in Fighting Pokemon. She recently mastered the art of Mega Evolution with her childhood Pokemon, Lucario. Feeling adventurous after the new Champion was recorded to the Hall of Fame, she decides to travel alone with Lucario for some fresh air and end up capturing new and diverse Pokemon. Both Lucario and Korrina are like siblings since childhood, so Korrina was prepared with her own pair of brass knuckles in-case if humans prefer a human vs. human fight. She sees Lucario more than just a Pokemon...
Many people speculate that Korrina loves Lucario so much because she grew up being with him since he was a Rilou. Korrina is attached to her Lucario so much that some speculate that the two had mate with each other. Others theory that Korrina was a Lucario but only reveals that form at night. The only way if he or she discovers these secrets is when they begin to communicate with each other.
The Pokemon she has and used, and in the Pokebox, were her team that was used for her Hoenn journey, and met a trainer who end up being chosen as the Delta user. The kind trainer gifted Korrina "her" Pokemon, which by now Sycamore is taking care of them...
Korrina and Lucario are returned to Shalour City and resume her duty as a gym leader and providing the best battles... Like no one ever was! The world and their journey is open to many ideas, so don't hold back!
